NICOLAAS KRASTER
Guitarist/ Composer Nicolaas Kraster has been performing for over twenty years. He has toured throughout North America, Europe and Central America with his award winning World Music group The Lotus Fire.
Born and raised in New York by parents in the entertainment field he was raised knowing that being a musician is a demanding job that requires dedication and determination. The hard work he has put in has lead to performances at festivals, concert venues, clubs and a performance for the President of the United States. He has shared the stage with Willie Royal (Willie and Lobo), Gumbi Ortiz (Al deMeola), David Alsina (Ricky Martin, Shakira) and, most recently, Victor Wooten (Bella Fleck and the Flecktones).
He is currently the lead guitarist in the Jazz and Blues fusion group Ari and the Alibis and the guitarist in the duet Nic and Ari.
